In addition to the Japanese delegation, the seminar featured Ms. Erin Clepper, a Research Engineer at 99P Labs, Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. She introduced an exciting research initiative titled "Joint Cognitive System," which aims to connect cognitive systems with machines to improve automobility in the future. Her presentation highlighted how integrating human cognitive systems with technology can enable automobiles to predict and respond more quickly, enhancing safety and efficiency. This advancement will also be particularly beneficial for the elderly, improving mobility and overall driving assistance.

The event provided attendees with a deeper understanding of aging-related challenges and solutions with technologies in Japan. It also served as a platform for meaningful discussions and networking, fostering connections between experts and attendees interested in aging solutions and technology.

JASCO is very appreciative of all the panelists, JCIE, and the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit for making this event possible, and we look forward to delivering more opportunities to the community in the future.
