Founded in 1997, the Japan-America Society of Central Ohio (JASCO) is dedicated to its mission to enrich lives by bringing Ohio’s Japanese and American Communities together. We provide a variety of programs and events designed to foster cultural understanding, support Japanese business success in Ohio, build lasting relationships, and promote education. Working alongside corporate, educational, civic, and individual partners, we strive to strengthen US-Japan relations throughout the greater Columbus region.
We offer Japanese language classes, business seminars, and cultural events. Our signature events include the Anniversary Gala, Summer Festival, the Japanese Speech Contest and the Ohio Japan Bowl.
JASCO is a proud member of the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS) and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
セントラルオハイオ日米協会 (JASCO) はオハイオ州の日米両コミュニティーを結びつけ、豊かな生活を実現することをミッションとして１９９７年に設立されました。
当協会は、文化理解を促進し、オハイオ州における日本企業の成功を支援し、永続的な関係を築き、教育を促進することを目的とした様々なプログラムやイベントを提供しています。企業、教育機関、市民団体、個人のパートナーと共に、コロンバス地域全体で日米関係の強化に努めています。
JASCOは年間を通じて、日本語クラス、ビジネスセミナー、文化イベントを開催しています。
JASCOの代表的なイベントには、ガラ記念式典、サマーフェスティバル、日本語スピーチコンテスト、オハイオ・ジャパンボウル（高校生対象 日本の知識クイズ大会）などがあります。
JASCOは、全米日米協会連合（NAJAS）のメンバーであり、501(c)(3)の非営利団体です。
