Noriko Mills is a HR Strategist for American Honda Motor Company and is responsible for future North American Honda’s talent strategy focusing on leadership development, career development, talent planning. 

She has extensive experiences in cross-cultural communication, leadership development, associate engagement, performance management, succession planning, mentoring programs, and diversity and inclusion. Noriko is a Japanese native and passionate about being a bridge between the US and Japan relationship especially through education and cultural exchange. 

She facilitates leadership training and business communication seminars. She also provides executive leadership coaching to help global talent become the best version of themselves and realize what is possible.

Deb Scherer brings more than 15 years of global business development experience from both the private and public sectors. In her capacity as Senior Vice President, she is responsible for leading the Columbus Region in worldwide marketing and business development efforts for the One Columbus strategy. 

Scherer’s private-sector experience as an International Sales Manager includes sales and marketing on five continents, territory development, mergers and acquisitions, and promotion of Ohio products globally.

Scherer is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) accredited by the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE). She holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Ohio University where she majored in International Business and Marketing and minored in Spanish.

Doug is the Central Ohio Market President for Truist, leading a team of bankers to grow, retain, and attract long term client relationships and serve as our client’s trusted financial partner by leveraging deep industry knowledge and best in class advisory solutions.

Prior to joining Truist, Doug held leadership roles in Corporate Banking and Credit Administration with Central Ohio financial institutions.
